    Hello,

    I was just wondering if there is a way to see what was sold when i got the sale. I am getting a decent amount of sales now and I would like to try and figure out if they are site related or if people are clicking through then bugging out to buy something else.

    Thnx, :D
    Sam.

    Click the "Review new transactions." link on your main logged on page in CJ.
    Click the $ amount for one of the new transactions
    You should see Ebay listed as the advertiser if it was the source of your new transaction.
    On the bottom right hand side, in the "Download report in", select a format, eg CSV to download in.
    Click Submit and download the file.
    View the file in Notepad or Excel depending on the format chosen.
    After the Advertiser _ID heading there will be Advertiser_Name SID Order_ID Click_Date
    This will have many numbers separated by a ;
    Copy the 2nd number into an ebay search, and that is the item that was won with your affiliate id.

    You can also use this thing to create a human friendly report...

    Don't be surprised to find that people are buying weird things that have absolutely nothing to do with your niche :)

    This is great information. You can also see, if you go to the eBay item page, if the same buyer is buying different items on different days. This a potential way to notice repeat customers (if they come back after the first cookie expires.)

    Thanks! :eek:

    Part of the fun with the eBay affiliate is to see how far off from your niche someone makes a purchase.
