Please provide a definitive answer as to whether the ads currently appearing across top of my page here: http://www.danscartoons.com are legitimate revenue generators. I note when clicking the links, they take you to LISTS of other links and not actual websites. Should I be concerned? Or is this the better set of ads? I.e. AD UNITS vs. LINK UNITS (???)
You will get money only from these ads if a visitor continues to one of the listed sites. So it takes two clicks from the visitor to get you some $. Some people make good money of these, I prever using a 728x90 leaderboard at the top.
...I thought that WAS a leader board across my page. I mean, I blended the background (bgcolor) and the border color as the same color of my page background. So is that not a leader board? (Hmmmmm). I did notice I've generated about $1.11 in revenue so far for the day of 2 October - whoohoo! http://www.danscartoons.com
I replaced the link units in some of my webpages for link units of price comparing websites like Buscape.com.br. I get more revenue from these than from low relevant ads that appear after the user lick on the link unit. Also, on these type of ads I can open it on new windows and specify witch phrase will appear. In some websites the revenue is better, on other isn´t, so I keep with google.
