    I really want to link to our company here, since one of the uses of our service is as an equally hands-off alternative to domain parking for gambling domains (we will be expanding into other areas in the near future).

    But I'm new and don't want to be a spammer. So I won't.

    Anyway, why does the idea of typeins to .co.uk domains always seem to surprise some people? There are other countries on the internet too, not just the USA. If you're typing in something that's geographically dependant, then adding your own country's TLD makesa lot of sense.

    I have heard that sedo and the like take up to 50% of the PPC revenue for your domain - can anyone confirm that?

    Sedo also lets you send traffic to names without having to park them. this lets you get search engine placement and not have to rely only on type-ins.

    try it out: http://www.ergochairs.com/getitnow

    Ive put 64 domains at Sedo some junk some not most new domains payout is ok since they werent doing anything but would probably have covered the second years reg fees.
    I just moved them to namedrive to see how they do there. So far the actual clicks are about the same. But I have gotten more traffic. May just be that they are gaining in age.
    Keep in mind that some servers will blacklist a parked page and this can make it harder to get seen if you decide to work the domain

    i have 20+ domains on Sedo and so far it is not spectacular but since I'm there for couple of weeks only, looks good. I'm actually testing how much traffic a certain domain receives (will leave it there for couple of months) and then DEVELOP the best one and cash it in - if it streams good will keep it if not will try to sell it as developed domain and get some cash. My domains are all adult and sports betting related + few tourism/travel names. So far adult are doing the best... and adding more and more domains to my portfolio each month...

    I would better ask how sedoparking seems to not work, one of the worst parking programs I've ever tried :(

    Sedo claims you can earn money while you sleep, and many people do. They run google adsense with fairly high clickthroughs. Sedo is (to my knowledge) the oldest public domain name parking service.

    Domain Parking

    * Primary Server Name: NS1.SEDOPARKING.COM

    * Primary Server Name: NS2.SEDOPARKING.COM

    or

    Method 2: URL Forwarding

    Or forward your domain's URL to the following: www.sedoparking.com/DOMAIN.COM
    PLEASE NOTE: make sure to replace "DOMAIN.COM" with your individual domain name

    For further information about parking your domains click here:

    what about the cash domain parking with Godaddy, anybody used that? They have all these services built in. I thought about turning up some domains on that since I have way more than I can manage right now. But, by parking these are they really going to get indexed and build any PR or traffic value? Since they are obvious spam traps it seems like google would be the only one that you would actually get indexed and build a domain PR with?

    Any thoughts on that?

    what are you talking about??

    you would not expect PR from domain park

    you would not have earning with NEW DOMAIN

    here is the way

    new domain >>> build some blog + find traffic + find indexes by SE >>> parked >>>:cool: $$$EARNING$$$:cool:

    Oh how wrong you are...

    Fresh regs can make money also. At one point all domains were fresh regs...

    P.S:

    DON'T USE GODADDY CASH PARKING! http://www.namepros.com/parking-and-traffic-monetization/444270-what-i-thinking-when-i-signed.html

    try Namedrive if you're just starting out. If you have more than 10 domains, go with Parked.

    Have you not heard about type-in traffic? And as for earnings, it depends on the quality and how lucky you are/talented at finding domains that are related to events/products/etc.

    Thats the end of the line for me here!

    Just for kicks, read the posts in this link: http://www.namepros.com/383701-whats-fastest-you-ever-got-visits-2.html?highlight=fastest

    My suggestion: read extensively about how valuable [QUALITY] domain names are!
