Sedo question

I'd like to sell a domain on sedo.com and have a question:

Will my domain name auction listing be displayed on the "Active Auctions" page of their site (I mean here - in this list, this page is displayed when you click on the button ">more" at the bottom of the "Auction Listing" on sedo's homepage) even if I don't purchase the "Featured Listing" package for my domain name?

I know if I don't purchase it, my domain won't be shown between those on sedo's homepage.

You can only get your domain listed on the live auction if some one makes an offer to buy your domain name. Once you recive an offer you have one week change of putting the name in auction and the first offer made will be concidered as a bid. The second way of getting listed for an auction is if your name is high value domain. to go for the second option you will need to email sedo and request that service.

Active auctions is just that...auctions that are active. so it requires a bid.

Is there a minimum bid amount to start a auction or what?

What do you mean? Domain auction becomes an active auction as soon as you list it e.g. for 2 weeks, doesn't it?

So, my question is: The active auction domains displayed on this Sedo's page are only those whose owners have purchased the featured listing for their domain for 39 Euro?

No there are two ways to get a auction.

After you recieve a bid you will have the option of sending your domain to a 7 day auction. The bid will act as the reserve.

If you have a domain of high quality you can contact a sedo broker and they will list your domain with a set reserve for 14 days.

I'm almost certain this is how it works. :D

After 4 years of unsuccesful domain transactions, unsuccessful domain parking, and unsuccessful partnership program, I opted for kicking of SEDO out of my life.
