Which is better to sell Domains? I have read few online reviews and see them saying Flippa is the best for websites and Sedo for domains. What is your take on this?
The reviews are correct after my opinion. If I have a site with lot of content bringing in money I go to flippa. If I just have a domain which seems great I go to sedo. But usually I always put some stuff on my domain - get some traffic and money - then sell it to flippa
True Peddeee, I personally feel the way how flippa works to be easier than Sedo. I recently signed up at Sedo and just became a certified "Standard" membership. I added my domain for sale and it now says, "Your domain is under review". I did not park it with them though.. Still, a review process for membership and a review process for domain listing... it is all just confusing me...
The review process is there just to make sure people actually own the domain names that they submit. To speed things up, you can temporarily change your nameservers to ns1.sedoparking.com and ns2.sedoparking.com, then change them back once the domain has been approved (usually takes 10 minutes or less).
Hey Qc4, thanks for the tip. That was really helpful. I just did it and it is approved Thanks very much. One question though - Now that my domain is "addedd" successfully under My Domains options, How do I sell them? Is there anything more I should do or should I sit back and wait till someone bids on the domain I listed?
Well, that is true not only for Sedo but for anything. Even if we are gonna use Fippa without knowing what is it good to go for then we will end up losing a $19 listing fee
