hehe.. I'm afraid that when auction will be finalized it's will be to late to talk with sedo. I will need to talk to a buyer.

why worry if you realyl own the domain ? let them sell it to whatever and you still own it :d

as a hint to sedo guys. write in site footer that domain is not for sale and see how would Sedo react about this ? ;)

Thanks Tech Entrance. They (sedo) keeping silence and continue their trade for this domain. Lol :)
From my side, as some guys recommend here, I've notified my domain registrar and pretty sure that will not loose the domain. What is good. :)

Why not make a big offer? It will surely get someones attention. :)

Also I don't see why you are complaining. They gave you a way to have it delisted and you refused to abide by their rules. Why should they just blindly trust you?

RectangleMan made two good points. I don't know much about Sedo.com but the information they asked of you are reasonable. *Note: As a potential buyer, I would think the person or company did their research before engaging in the auction. If not and they win the bid, it's there lost, not yours.

    M3chman,
Sedo, Afternic and other 3rd party programs have a major problem dealing with issues like this. This is not your problem, it is sedos mess. They need to have a better management system instead of ongoing free classifieds for domain offers. Many owners try to quickly sell their names before they drop dead and can care less if they have a "free listing".

I think I will visit sedo and make a million dollar offer and see what the former registrant has to say! BTW: I am really not interested in a for real purchase. I have enough poker names.

I laugh at Sedo and Afternic, example "We have 9 million names for sale" but they do not have any idea how many Dropped Names are in their own DB!!!! This is why they need to charge a fee per listing so they expire after a certain amount of time.

They also should charge a fee to help keep out all the "Crap Domains" from the domain pool. I hate searching that site and seeing names like:

    get452789pokerformeandyou.com

You have a solid name, get it going and we can hook up on PokerMaster.net and PokerOnTour.com.

    Later On!

Also place a note on your site the name IS NOT FOR SALE and SEDO is being difficult, even link this thread ;)

heya, i have had this problem before...

I used to own a domain, i listed it on sedo to sell it.

I let it expire but it was still in my account.

another person has now registered it but it is still sitting in my account?

of course i have removed it now...

They are listing 9 of my domains for sale none of which have ever been for sale. Sedo is nothing but a scam in itself.
