You only pay the 10% if your name ends up selling, but you also need to park your names with them to get that rate. It is absolutely worth putting your names on Sedo as well to promote as you target a wider market than DP plus you can get endusers or people who are willing to pay a lot more than the people on DP trying to get a bargain. Plus you have the opportunity to use their Escrow service as part of the 10% fee which gives you added protection. Or course this is depending on how much your names sell for. If it sells for a few bucks then it's not worth it.
thanks guys! I guess that could explain why I'm getting no bids at my domain auction http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1192726
Depends upon the domain. DP is good for low priced domain (upto 100) as you don't have to pay any fees (except paypal).\ Sedo is for making professional deals .DP is a good place to sell your low quality domains for low price
10% charge for selling with sedo is not bad (it used to be 40%). Yes you can get cash for parking while you wait to sell.
Sedo is better for better domains. If you have low quallity domains sell them on DP, if you have high quallity keyword domains sell them on Sedo.
yes I agree, DP is the place where people need to find cheap domains. If you want bigger money then go to the provider. Anyway, I don't know which one can offer higher price, sedo or godaddy
you only have to pay if they sell. seems hard to sell on sedo though because they are so many f'in domains listed on there your domain will get lost in the mix.
dp is a marketing forum, sedo is a site designed to sell domains.. ya, I wonder which one would be better
I am asking to the people who thinks sedo is better place for selling domains: "how many domains have you sold in sedo so far, or recently?? 0??"
Ok since I am new here so i am asking same question from DP users, how many domains you have sold here? I am a webmaster myself and have joined dp recently
