Sedo advice please

After 2 years of waiting I suddenly had an offer (only 300 GBP) and I would like to accept it. However I have absolutely no experience of selling domains and I would value some independent advice from those who have, also Live chat on Sedo is not available at the weekend.
My offer says Sedos fee will be 35GBP - will that include any possible transfer fees?

Seems I also have an auction option - will that incur extra cost to me? Will there be any risk that I might lose my bid?

I am quite happy to trade on Ebay and know how careful one sometimes needs to be however being a complete newbie on Sedo I wonder if there are any particular things to look out for.

I read around more and because my time to act is limited I decided to go to auction - just in case there are higher bidders around to help push the price up. Since Sedo fees are percentage based then they will get more if the price goes up. If anyone is interested I will report back on transaction.

    Hi,

Perhaps you could tell me what does one need to be careful about on eBay?

i think its 50 GBP fee for negotiations. if you set the domain price as 300GBP fixed price then it will be 30 GBP fee

you can see those fees in your offer listing section and decide for auction / sale etc

If your Sedo offer says that they will charge you 35GBP, that's all you will get charged as a commission.

The initial offer has to be paid unless you make a counter offer. You can put your domain on a 7 day auction without losing the initial offer.
You may only lose 7 days if the domain doesn't receive a bid at the of the auction. But you will have a chance to sell it for a higher price at the auction.
    Their 10% fee includes everything.
