Securett.com - 3 day auction

This is one of those not-quite finished projects.

Securett.com is remote ftp software that enables small businesses to backup important data remotely to your server (password protected directory for each client).

We were going to hire college kids to knock on doors and sell it cheap. the idea was to use it as a foot in the door for selling other IT services, especially those small businesses which don't pay attention to backing up their data.

Great idea, we think, but never got around to finishing it. We spent about $250 for the branded ftp software. Lots of work went into the manual. The payment part was not worked out, and you need to do some slight graphics tweaking. Other than that, it just needs someone who can see that Securett.com is a great, brandable name which you could actually build a company around if you wanted to!

We also have the Securette.com domain name and will include that. You can download the ftp product from the site for free to see what it is like. Sold AS IS. We will zip and send you the files or you can leave it hosted where it is for $20 per month for a while, but as it takes off you are going to want your own box.
