As we have noticed that there were so many e-gold accounts were hacked so I am giving you some tips to secure your e-gold account.
Always use Firefox to access your account.
Be careful to use your e-gold account on hyip sites.
Never give your pass phrase to anyone.
    Enable accent security pin service.
Never click any link about e-gold in your e-mails because e-gold never sends links in e-mails.
Always use SRK to type your pass phrase, it is safe way.
You can also post some tips on this thread so go ahead.

Thanks for the tips :) The most important thing is to enable the accent PIN so any potential hacker must know both your e-gold password and email password which is pretty hard to do.

Yes I agree accent security pin is very important. it will make your e-gold account more secure. Hacker have to double his work he should know e-mail password as well as e-gold account password.

In 2006 my e-gold account with $23,000 USD in it was hacked mysteriously with no clues towards how it was done. My password was a random alphanumeric 26 digit string. I still have no idea.
