I DONT GET WHAT AL THIS BACK AND FORTH IS ABOUT I MEAN HERE YA GO I HAVE BEEN WITH THIS CO FOR OVER A YEAR AND WHAT THEY SAY IS TRUE MY SITE HAD NO PROBLEMS DUE TO OTHER REASON I HAD TO MOVE FOR A COUPLE MONTHES AND CAN TELL U I HAVE HAD MORE DOWNTME THEN UP NOW IM BACK HERE AS IT SHOULD B AND NO PROBLEMS NO TRIPS ABOUT WHAT I HAVE ON SITE I MEAN U HAVE TO USE UR BRAIN B CREATIVE ON THINGS BUT WHY KNOCK A GOOD HOST FOR A GOOD PRICE THAT HAS QUALITY THINGS...I SWEAR BY IT, I WAS READY TO STOP AND I HAVE A 33 GIG SITE AND NOW THAT THEY R BACK AND IN OPERATION I HAVE CHANGED MY MIND AND SO SO GLAD I DID SO HONESTLY PPL STOP TRYING TO TEAR SOMETHING DOWN B4 U TRY IT FIRST URSELVES...UNLESS THE ULTERIOR MOTIVE HERE IS U DONT WANT THE CO. TO GO UP I MEAN THE NEGATIVE PPL AND THEIR REMARKS R U GUYS HOSTS AND AFRID OF LOSING CUSTOMERS THEN I COULD UNDERSTAND U SAYING THINGS BUT IF U R JUST STARTING PROBS FOR NO REASON I AM HERE TO SAY I HAVE HAD AN EXCELLENT REPOIR WITH THE OWNERS AND SITE WAS ALWAYS UP AND THEY WERE ALWAYS THERE TO HELP ME WITH THE SMALLEST OF PROBLEMS UP CAN U GET THAT MOST PLACES?? You Can Also Verify The 3 Bewiz Songs Made For Me, And The Fact That I Had A About 4,100 Progs Added As Well As 8 Different Programmers And Was About To Expand That As Well. I Hope Once We Have Everything Back Up You Will Not Only Stop By But Register As A Member As Well All Progs On My Site Are Free And Checked Thru My A.v, I Am Not Perfect But If Any Program Is Brought Tomy Attention It Is Handled Immediately. I hope that you mean that you allow it if the customer owns the copyright to it. Unless the person hosting the files either owns the copyright, is paying royalties, or recorded the MP3 of himself, then it's practically illegal in the US, and the RIAA might come after you.

And you said that you allow mp3, linked mp3, etc etc. Which implies that you allow hosted mp3. If I were you, I'd be very careful on how things are stated. I know you say that they don't touch your box, but you need to be careful. If someone gets angry about it, they'll slap someone with a lawsuit. If Softlayer doesn't take you down, they'll be liable for the lawsuit, so I guarantee you that they will start touching your box, and they will take you down if you have illegal material on your server.

and also punkownz i remember you.. something like that.. its not smart running under a hacking name and selling hosting...

 

1) Before we didn't have a website, we use to work with other hosting companies as admin's and server admin's we are also connected to softlayer we have been working with them for year's we get all our server's through softlayer.

 

Looks fishy to me ... anyone offering warez anything on softlayer is absolute lies...
