Dunno where to post this, so please move it to the right section if this aint right? situation: Person A got Product X for sale at 50$ with clickbank. Person B has got a forum, where people have to pay 5$ to see content. Person A has an affiliate program with 50% commission Person A & B agree that people who pay the 5$ to see the content op Person B his website, would be able to buy Product X for 25$, but Through Person A his clickbank program. (Meaning Person B exchanged his 25$ commision for the 5$ subscription to his forum) Of course Person A & B do not want people who know the link to the clickbank page for 25$, to leak that link to other people who did not pay that 5$ to see the content/link. So basicly, I'd just need clickbank/person A to acces the 25$ buyout form when it was referred from person B. Anyone know how this should be set up?
Clickbank doesn't offer any system which could help you in this situation, so the only real option you would have left is to use some coupon code on your $25-sale-confirmation page. * Person B with his forum could give out the special sales link PLUS the coupon code. * Now when anyone buys through your special $25 link, you simply send them to a special page where they first have to enter the coupon code to confirm they came from Person B's forum. I'm not 100% sure if this allowed by CB (you better contact them first), but it would be the only way as anyone can basically guess a ClickBank sales-link by trial&error. * So you would have to make sure that you avoid any possible confusion, as that could lead to refunds & chargebacks... * You could basically change the coupon code from time to time, to more or less avoid leakage, as long as Person B keeps the info updates @ his/her site...
Well, not sure how you have it all set up exactly, but sounds like you'd need person B to set up a secure link with a dynamic page that only lets the person get to Person A's order page if it can successfully determine that they're a registered user on person B's forum. This kind of stuff is fairly routine (specific page only accessible if you're logged in) - should just be a PHP page with a little background work to make sure the user's logged in/etc. -T
The problem with the code/pasword would be that other Fora are copy pasting info from person be his forum daily, so the code would leak instantly.
