Section targeting - nesting tags

    Is this OK and can I nest these section targeting tags?

    <!-- google_ad_section_start -->

    bla bla bla

    <!-- google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) -->
    bla bla
    bla
    <!-- google_ad_section_end -->

    bla bla bla

    <!-- google_ad_section_end -->

    Every post on my blog has start and end tags but I want to exclude some paragraphs in one or two posts. Can it be done like this or is there any other way?

    Thank you

    I don't think this would work perfectly and smoothly. Google will somewhat limit the number of showing ads per page. Too much ads may consider your site as MFA and got some penalty or something.

    I don't think nested section targeting is allowed. I have not seen any Google documents that say it is allowed. You can do it, but the AdSense bot will be confused and either ignore it or pick something else.

    The larger question is why you need to do section targeting. Section targeting is meant for the AdSense bot to understand the nature of contents on your page. If you have bunch of sections it says that you are telling AdSense bot that there are more than one niches in your page.

    If you are thinking about section targeting for only high paying keywords, forget it. It does not work that way.
