Hello. I have discoverd that there are companies that will gaurantee top 10 placement within 90 days. White Hat. I have seen the proof. Aside from keywords in the site.. is there any other tricks involved here? How can they be so confident?
A person or companies guarantee can only be as good as their own ability to make good on that claim. That being said, nobody can guarantee top placement from natural search engine listings unless they can directly manipulate the search engine indices. Sure, there are methods that a person can use that have proven to increase rankings, and they can employ these methods that they have known to work in the past with relative assurance that these things will work in the future as well. . . but at the end of the day, should a search engine tweak their algorithm. . . the person/company really has no grounds to make a guarantee of such things. All that said, it's not too difficult to increase rankings in a non-competitive market. Find a keyword phrase that looks like it might be popular but really isn't, or find a keyword phrase that represents a market that doesn't understand the concept of SEO, et volià , you've got a great, yet misleading, positive case study. As to how they can be so confident: probably they're familiar with seo & sem, and they know how to obtain improved results. This doesn't mean that they can get long lasting results, though. Personally, I would stay away from anyone who guarantees top 10 placement. If you want to pursue using a company that claims that, then hook up with a company that requires payment based on performance; and make sure that you stay in the top 10 for 3 months minimum & also be sure that they target keywords that produce results, not just keywords that are searched for 100 times per month.
If they guarantee results they will only be guaranteeing high rankings for terms with no competition like 'google disposal services'. It's easy to rank for terms with no competition but you will gain no benefit from doing so. Before paying any money, ask them which terms they will rank you for.
There is no tricks involved I guess. They are confident maybe because they are equipped with tools needed and they are more experienced.
Even If they are the best SEO company no one can guarantee listings overnight. They may be having the best tools but still, just research the term they are promising is how much saturated on the search engines
Both of those won't be enough to rank for high competition keywords (like poker, viagra, sex) in only 90 days.
