form posting is not to get traffic . its just to get backlinks ... thats the reason i said post 5 posts in 100 forums (not post 100 posts in 5 forums) ... it is just ment to increase link popularity
1. Create a Great Blog with your own domain about something you know a lot about 2. Write 20 to 50 articles to begin so visitors will stay a while and return 3. Submit blog into top 1-5 blogging directories 4. Sign up on 1-5 forums (related to your blog/niche) and make 5 to 10 posts weekly on each (without spam) 5. Blogroll with 5-10 great and related blogs Speculation-Mileage will vary 6. Ignore link brokers and create more content then create a few side blogs on the blog service sites or social bookmarking sites and lead people to your personal blog with regular highlight articles 7. No need to buy traffic with a great blog, spend $200 on yourself 8. Use text box to collect emails/send emails (not weekly) only when you really have something worthwhile to offer or send members of the list a review of your weekly postings, or anything other than "Buy This" spam in a predictable format 9. Keep writing quality posts and find value for your audience you can monetize
LOL.... I wouldn't say this is a "secret" a lot of people do this already... but you don't need to do all that extra work in signing up for 100 forums, submitting to 100 directories, etc... it's easier than that, at least it is for me!
I'm interested in knowing what exactly "link popularity" is, and how it pertains to Page Rank, if at all. It is my understanding that only one-way backlinks earn towards PR?
No.2 in your how-to list is something at least 90% of people forget to do (in my humble opinion). Can't be arsed writing great content? Don't worry about it, write rubbish content instead! Can't be arsed writing rubbish content? Don't worry about it, republish someone else's work! Don't worry about it, the internet's not the same as 'real life', throw a blog or website together and people will flock!! Feeling slightly cynical / drunk.... My 2 cents. John.
