the majority of Spam websites only register a domain name for one year. A domain name registered for a longer period implies that the owner is more likely to be legitimate and serious about their web site.

This is just one of the unusual factors possibly considered by Google when indexing and ranking a website. Factors, but it doesn't mean that is the most important factor.

 

Very useful I am looking to raise my PR and then sell it for decent $. Right now it is at a 4, and I bought it for $900 looking to get it to a PR 5 and sell it for 5kish

You stole someone elses content and presented it as your own. If your intention was to "contribute to this forum" why didn't you just post a link to original post?

What you have done is actually illegal. You should apologise to everyone you have mislead in this forum and take down any content from your site that you don't have rights to.

I think the age of a domain also matters (The time from when it is indexed)

and when you registered the domain does not matter!
