Maybe this explanation can be used by his lawyers,

the testosterone found in the samples were produced by a twin brother who died before birth!!

Anymore ways this guy can get off, will Mark McGuire have time to be his advisor?

He will most likely be stripped of his tour title.
And that means Oscar Periero of Spain will now get the top spot, incase the TDF officials decide to strip off his title

What I don't get is he tested positive on the 17th day (the day he made the come back) but testosterone takes weeks to have any effect so it could not have helped him.

The other thing is the lab that did the testing has gone through contrevesy before.

Things look pretty bad and if he did cheat he deserves it, but I'm not 100% convinced just yet.

Hi Roman yes you are right, but I have been a racing cyclist and followed cycling all my life, and I think like Jacques Anquetil and he was the first person to win the Tour de France five times (1957 and 1961–64).

He said you don't win the tour on 'drinking only water"

This is true in most big money sports, doctors make a fortune figuring out how to make steriods undetectable and testing agencies make money figuring out how to detect them, and that little edge may mean millions to an athlete.

There have been quotes Roman, that a typical doctor on the tour charges 30,000USD per consultation and the riders need the doctor to be available throughout the cycling season say 8/9 months. That is lot of money but as you say the stakes are very high, and the money on offer from prize money, sponsors, media etc etc is millions
