Hi, n00b here but I'm looking for suggestions on a second product for my company. I operate a internship abroad company and we get a large number of leads per day. I would say about 15 per day and we could ramp that up to 100+ per day. That is not our issue. We offer internship abroad packages. These cost about $5,000 each. Needless to say, while we get a large number of inquiries we get many few closed sales. What I am thinking is that we need one or two additional price point product. So like something costing $200-300 and we need something even lower, like $20-30. So that if our leads don't go with the main package, we could offer them the second option and then the third option. I have been toying with the idea of creating an ebook or a print on demand book about finding international internships. But I'm not sure if people(specifically, college students) will actually buy an ebook. Y'all think it would be worth my time and effort to create an ebook or not?
I don't think creating just an eBook would be appealing for college students. Maybe you should add in some audio/video material?
A video course with a pdf manual about how to find internships abroad would probably go over well. It would just be a matter of testing to find a good price point. You could have your medium price product - maybe consulting on finding an internship? - as a backend when the students realize how challenging it is to do it themselves.
