Dont ask me what made me think of this... actually the reason is because I was reading about the demise of Second Life in a PC mag. What the article got me wondering was how naive some prestigious universities could be to want to advertise in this virtual world. In my opinion it didn't take a rocket scientist to know that Second Life was just going to be a passing fad (at least to me anyway). Yet prestigious universities were betting on the fact that Second Life would be the next big thing on the internet. This poor judgement on their part makes you question a few things doesn't it
