Hey guys I want to buy a domain name that is already owned by someone. When I checked this person's Whois info and I call the phone number it isn't the right one.

I tried to reverse lookup this person's information etc.. pretty much all that could be done with the person's listed whois info.

Is there anything else I can do to get in touch with the person directly or indirectly??!!

    Thanks a lot!!!

If you can help me get the name I will compensate you.

When you do a whois on the domain name look for the DNS Server settings see who has it then go to there website and enquire about it there.

I've actually been able to take ownership over a .com because of inaccurate WHOIS information. ICANN has some clause saying the owner must be contactable within 60 days. File a complaint, and if they don't get back to you in 60 days they have to forfeit the domain.

I did it a couple months ago with a particular .com that was owned by a business that went under. Clearly, their offices closed and phone number went dead. There was a year left on their lease of the domain, but I was able to take ownership anyways.
