I hope I'm allowed to post this here. I see other people posting product launches and whatnot, so I wanted to plug mine. --- Product: eBook for Teaching Job Candidates : How to Get a Teaching Job Websites: Teaching Job Interview Book - Sales Page Affiliate Page Commission: 60%, About $10 per sale Converts well during "hiring season" for schools (May - August). 10% gravity. Thousands of copies sold to-date - no exaggeration. Refunds are rare. The sales page is well written. No adsense. No leaks. No email opt-in. Professional graphics. To-the-point, but convincing. All testimonials are real and unsolicited. Priced right for the market. Many of my affiliates are BUMs (bum marketers, that is), and education website owners. I don't know much about AdWords, but I suppose if you know what you're doing it would convert there as well. I invite you to give this product a try. Now is the beginning of "teacher hiring season." The product will convert very well through August, then it won't pick up again until about this time next year. Thanks for reading. And best of luck to all with your affiliate marketing. - Tim P.S. Serious affiliate marketers can PM me to request a free copy to review. Don't just PM me and say, "Send me a free copy." Prove your serious by telling me something about yourself and your marketing style.
It's a sensible product for people looking to make a modest profit. Teaching candidates are generally out-of-college kids and unemployed job-seekers. In other words, they're good people looking to advance their career - not rich people who are splurging on products they don't need. They're not going to fork over much more than $20 for the product. That's why I set the commission to 60% - so affiliates can do well too. Despite the price, it does convert. According to Analytics, over the past 30 days I have 5876 hops and 264 sales. 4.4% conversion. (Only 3 refunds. No unhappy customers - all 3 were double charges.) Keep in mind - generally hiring starts in the beginning of May for most US schools. So the stats do not reflect the "busy season". It's a niche product for sure. It will do better on career sites and education sites. Because of the price, it will probably perform better when marketed with BUM, blog promotion, or as an affiliate link on a related website than it will with Adwords.
I have been a teacher for a year and then I quit. I also received training during summer vocation. I think your book is helpful to those who will be a teacher soon. The training is boring, it is good if I have read your book, then I didn't need to get trained.
