Now SearchWiki matters with search engine optimization process.
Google has a tool where a Google user can promote a site by clicking the promote button.
Google had implemented that tool in the intention of making search results more relative and exact.
No doubt the SearchWiki will affect the ranking in the search results.
The max promoters will improve the site ranking in Google search engine.

It is up to the website owners to provide the unique content such that people promote their website and there by increasing their rankings.

What do you think about implementation of SearchWiki?

In my opinion this will never have a big effect (if any at all) on search results. If Google allows us to rank each other's sites, and our own, the system will be frought with useless search results, due to self-promotion. It won't fly.
