What do you mean by "support sucks" when you do not really mind if its managed or managed? If its unmanaged, you will be getting very little support. Are you talking about reliability, or perhaps setting up the VPS for first use? burst.net has indeed some very cheap plans you can use. be aware, however, that just like any other budget host you may have to sacrifice quality over money.
When comparing Burst and Enotch some time ago (both are budget providers that start their VPS packages at $5.95 per month), Enotch worked much better for me than Burst. So I kept the Enotch VPS (I'm still using it) and quit using the Burst VPS.
