I have my website under domainNameA added to Google search. And I also have a second name for my website domainNameB, which points (re-direct) to domainNameA. Yet, if I search for domainNameB, it isn't found in searches. How can I make my domainNameB to be found in searches, which will direct people to domainNameA from those searches? Thanks
If you are using one website to redirect to your main website then you will not find it in the search engine listings because there is no content on it and because the search engines will recognise a redirect and not list it on that basis. So the only benefits you could possibly get are if it is an aged domain with a lot of backlinks on other sites and the traffic will come to you via those sites or if it is a new website the only traffic that will come from it will be Type in traffic (ie from some one types the name of your redirecting website directly into their browser rather than searching for it on keywords) Hope that explains it a little for you.
