Hello, I'm searching for a software that can manage my parcel status. For instance: Someone orders 10 items, 3 are in stock, 4 have to be produced and will take like 4 days and 3 are on their way to our warehouse. I'd like to set the status for each item. Is there a software that could do this? (Please no ERP system - we just failed with OpenERP - simply too big for us). Maybe sth like a bug tracking software? Or a project/tasks software? Or is there anything specific for this purpose? Thanks, Lilly
You can go for CRM. Also, you can get such software created from a Software Development firm as per your need which shall not includes any ERP.
We just started with VtigerCRM. An own software from a firm - not a big fan of it (costs, support, needs/grow, ...) Did you use Vtiger before? Any idea which module would be the way to go here?
Not necessarily .. it would just be nice to have everything in one system and we'd have this system on hand. (But the CRM part should be done in VTiger, yes)
Hi LillyLi, You can integrate UPS API integration with your CRM and also ERP integration and Fedex API integration with your CRM so you will get all in one software. We have done this integration With MS Dynamics CRM which is fully flexible with many types of integration. How this works: We have customized and integrated Microsoft Dynamics CRM with customer portal, ERP and Third party tool Shipping Service Api (Fedex). - By MSD CRM integration and customization with customer portal client can add leads and invoices directly from his web portal. - And from integration with ERP it make the whole process automatic customer can get all the invoice data from ERP to CRM - and our client can manage the Financial Module directly from CRM. We have also did one great integration of CRM with UPS and Fedex shipping services. - Due to our client has global business we have added Fedex shipping services api with client's CRM so client can track record of his shipping good and get the updated status data of his goods directly from CRM I think this is what you want right? And I forgot to mention. If you do not want to go with ERP than it is Ok. You need not to be its only purpose to generate invoices and all. but tracking goods data and updates can be done by integration of your Portal with CRM and ThirdParty tool (UPS, Fedex etc.) we can suggest you the best one when we have complete requirement with us. Not sure whether this is exactly what we need. What do you mean by "Portal"? We'd like to control the internal status of a package/order (how many items are already packed, whats the status of each item, etc.) There is an integration VTiger - Magento that we're currently testing. Hi Lilly, -We have done the integration with MS CRM regarding the status of the product, order and all. -And Portal means we have integrated MS CRM with Website in which end user can fill up inquiry form from Website and data will be stored on your CRM database and you can send invoices, Quote, Cases, Order from your CRM to that end users - We can do this for you also but in MS CRM let me know if you are interested.
