searchii.com launches 'find an item' search

    Hi DP peoples,

    Just a quick one to let you know we've launched searchii.com 'Find an item' search. Whatever item your searching for we've indexed ebay, bidz.com and several other smaller auction sites.

    Yeah it does seem to be abit slow (45 Pages were found in 3.0125 Seconds)

    I don't like the lime green URL's on the results pages, but other than that it looks very pleasant, good luck with it... ;)

    LOL thanks for the feedback guys.

    We've developed our technology specifically for that. If you read our many press releases you'll notice our focus is on relevancy rather than quantity. Our aim was to only return anywhere between 50 - 120 pages per search result. Why? We figure if you haven't found what your looking for within the first 10 pages or so we're not worth using.

    And so far we feel this has been achieved successfully. We have also begun implementing additional servers into our cluster and have been able to reduce your search session time down to around 1 second. We hope you enjoy.

    I will also be posting about our new browser plugin which has just been launched. Feel free to install if you feel the need :)
