SearchDogg.net / HUGE database

Search Engine with its own HUGE database and admin control.

    http://searchdogg.net

9,550,227 records in the database. Some web sites listed are offline - which is typical. But they are easy to remove

There is also a "related topics" database with 371,019 records in it.

I can sell the web site as it is, or a clone. I am only selling 3 copies.

SearchDogg.net is the only site using the database.

Written in PHP with a MySQL database. Very, very easy to edit and maintain.

Asking $100 or best offer. Will consider trade.

It is a new site, so there is little traffic. But it has been crawled well.

I can send screen shots if you pm me your email address.

If it is a new site, how did you get over 9+ million listings?

You said this is the only place this database is used...if you purchased the database listings then that is not true. Did you insert all 9 million + listings yourself then? The listings were obviously not inserted the natural way which is visitors inserting them if the site is brand new...

Please explain further...I am confused but possibly interested. Could this db be inserted into a phpld type directory?

thanks in advance for your reply.

The content was crawled with my crawler and then imported into the database (MySQL). So the content is original.

The web site is new - but I have been working on the database for about a year.

There are Four fields on the database: Id, URL, Title, Description.

As for a PHPld - I am not sure. The database is pretty straight forward.

Can the site crawl the web? For example limited to a Ip range ?
Can the site build static pages from searches ?

The site does not crawl. I have my own crawler that crawled and built the database. It is not for sale.

It can build static pages via htaccess (mod rewrite)

    It uses that now.
