Search Volumes

    Hi

Does anyone know any way to see how many searches are done for specific keywords for bing? The reason I am asking is that I currently rank no. 1 on bing for a search that has 7 000 monthly searches on Google, but I so far have had no clicks and I don't really understand it. The keywords are definitely appropriate for the site so I don't understand if there is:

    1. really low search volume

    2. I am seeing different results to others

    3. something about bing I don't understand

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

If you could post the keyword here only then someone would be able to help you out properly.

OK sure, the key word is 'spread betting deals' where the sites I own are ranked 1st and 4th (spreadbettingdeals.com and trading-deals.com) and for 'trading deals' trading-deals.com is number one, and for 'trading offers' trading-offers.com is number two.

    Thanks

I think you need to find a forum about this problem on the Internet, there you can ask some users, who works in this industry.

Ok, I checked your keyword and it has only 260 monthly search volume on Google (where did you get the number 7000 from?)...and that is Global, local if I see only USA it is not even 10. I suppose that is one of the big reason why you are not getting any clicks from Bing coz people are not searching for it only. If I see Bing market share, then considering it holds 10% of search share, then people searching on Bing will be only 20.

Try optimizing the site for other keywords that are more searched for.

    Hope it helps!

    Hi thanks for replying,

The 7000 came from adding up all the keywords, I think 'trading deals' was 6 400 last time I checker, and local is for UK where I think the search for spread betting is higher, but maybe I am wrong.

Yes, there are certain tools that are available over internet.
But you can even get the information by checking it manually...
On your bing Search Engine's search box:
Enter the keyword you want to search for. You will get to know how competitive this keyword would be when you target for your site?
Go to Keyword Tool and find out the exact search volumes which will let you know what is the amount of search volumes for a particular key phrase.

    Hope this helps...
