Search Term Check Wrong Results

It is not unusual for the search term checker to be off slightly for a short period of time, but I am now getting bad results for a few search terms for several days.

A couple of weeks ago, Google did some tweaking, which caused one of our sites, www.cardsshoppe.com, to be removed from the 1st listing for 'baby shower invitations' and several others from the first page. However, during the next week, we gradually came back on all the Google data centers to the number 1 position, http://www.mcdar.net/dance/index.php.

When I update at the daily results on Digital Point, it shows that 'baby shower invitations' for www.cardsshoppe.com is in the middle of page 2. I cannot find this listing position on ANY of the Google Data Centers. I have this problem with other search terms like 'bridal shower invitations', among them.

Any idea why some our our key search terms are showing differnt here, than all the Google Data Centers??

Most likely data center flux. Are you sure you checked *all* the data centers? I would guess there are 250-500 of them.

Same is happening to me now since 28th July. Have a word that suddenly jumped to around 100th place, while on all google datacenters I tried, it was around 27-30th place. Strange thing is that on yahoo, the same word is at around 150th place, while when I search yahoo, it is from 7-15th place.

When I tried my own home made google api, I ended up on 30th place for the same word.

Today, the word popped back up to 30th place. So seems ok now.
