Hi guys Thought I might give back a few things since Ive learnt a lot from everyone here. Recently I attended the Search Summit SEO conference in Sydney. Few important notes: - Google are working on indexing java. No time frame given but the speaker estimated maybe 1 year before this will happen. They are trying to not restrict indexing to just html and allowing webmasters to give a better visual experience to their visitors. This wil not exactly be a "google solution" but more a unversal ie maybe yahoo, msn or other players will have a hand in it as well and come to an agreement as to what can be indexed and what cant be. - Someone asked about supplemental pages and how to get rid of them as it is seen as page of lesser value. Short answer, it is directly related to page rank! removing or adding an external link could possibly reduce the pagerank below the threshold. What that theshold is I dont know, however, in most cases, it is due to duplicate content. A simple change in title or description could work. Some pages maybe have 2 similar pages in different format and they can be flagged as supplemental. To get rid of this you can just fix robot.txt file so that one of the pages dont get crawled or a "no follow" command somewhere. Ill list more when I can remember so I'll be back
