I recently changed all the title tags for my website, and suddenly the site is not appearing on Google. It does however appear when I search for the domain (domain.com)... Was I banned from the index? Or will it take a few hours for my site to pop back on google...

    Techguy09,

the title tag of a page is probably the single most important component of SEO. Don't change it without thinking through the implications.

I did change it for the better - Is that what you think happened? Cause I'm not banned on Google because it shows up with a domain.com search... What do you suggest I do??

    Techguy09,

try changing the tag back to its original version and see what happens after the next Google crawl.

I changed the title tag on about 10 pages - Change them all back? Ouch.

If you think you have edited the title tags of your pages to a better format, remain patient for some time because Google needs time to crawl your web pages once again and refresh its index.

It's definitely a better format, but why would google remove them? Do they remove them first, then re-add them? I would have thought it would be done simutaneously.
