Fluctuation of SERP usually happens as PR update, aim on getting few strong backlinks to keep your site indexed more often and regain your rankings.

I think it will be recovered as long as you keep working on the website.

    Scan your Google Analytics report...
Pin point those keywords and pages for which traffic is dropped.

Try to find the flaws in the pages, possible reasons for the drop could be...
    - Shallow content
    - You lost your backlinks and hence SERP rankings
    - Penalty for over optimization

may be its a panda effect but just check weather, just review the site, check if there is something which is not liked by the visitors, check of conetent or to much links for navigation and then make changed, then come to conclusion why you loosing it, just blaming panda update on first look is not the right way to approach.

Google is extremely erratic unless your site is VERY well optimized (i.e. old domain, strong links, lots of quality pages etc). It's not uncommon to rank well one week or so, then Google drops you, then a short while after Google brings you back up in the SERPs.

Wait a few weeks and see if it's temporary or not. Then do some other SEO for your website.

without any doubt its the effect of panda. i think waiting for a few days or weeks and then identifying the problem is better. check your contents and also the number of links. check if there is any kind of major change or not.

Different days give different results, traffic can vary depending on a lot of factors, seasonal holidays, weekends e.t.c
