bumps have little effect on the expired posts, since they stay at the bottom of the page and are faded to look invisible

I'll trow a BBQ if that happens . This wave of justice comes just when i was trying to get more involved in the market here at DP . Ah well i guess I'm still better off then those that rely on DP for most of their income .

I recently got 5 infractions for my duplicated threads which are posted years ago, it's funny. Like BusinessCoach, I doubt what to do with my service when the price changes or smt. Bumping doesn't help neither because I can not edit my post anymore. I don't want to spam at all but there must have a solution for trusted sellers like us.

I think you guys are being just a little harsh here. Okay, maybe we do need a relist option. The Administrator has said it's on his to-do list. That means be patient and wait. Do you realize how much work is involved in maintaining such a large and active forum? I've worked on a forum that was one quarter of this size before, and it was hard. Very hard. Moderators cannot be online 24/7, they're not paid, this isn't their job... They do it because they want to help out. Infractions are just that. They're warnings. Warning you not to do it again. What if you didn't get an infraction and done the same thing twice the next day... You'd get two infractions, instead of the original one, and then you'd be unhappy that you weren't told earlier about breaking the rules.

Just be patient. Let him work on the relist feature. One of our perks as being a premium member is we get to bump once every seven days. Use that to your advantage. A signature link will help you aswell. Remember, you only need to use these options for a while, until DP Admins have coded the new feature. You're really making a massive deal out of such a small situation.

Actually I have plans to start selling a lot of things soon... Yet I will make sure I follow the rules and this, unfortunately for you, is one of those rules.

I'm not embarassing myself at all, neither am I on Shawn's lap. There is no penalty. Maybe if you read the rules and made your sale never ending you would've been okay. You should know the rules, you've been here 30 months or so. Duplicate threads are not allowed. You failed to read that rule and got an infraction for it. Deal with the infraction by just waiting it out, and sell other products you have until the relist feature is available for use.

lol -- make my sale never ending...

you don't do a lot of business do you?

If you are too dumb to know what the difference between a duplicate and similar thread are, then please stay out of adult conversations

clearly this subject does not affect you, I am not sure how you reiterating what has already been said but adding some nonsense in for good measure helps

...as it does DOZENS (hundreds?) of other sellers

you are not even a moderator.

please move on...you are totally unhelpful

If you offer service like Traffic/Vouchers etc., you can start a never ending thread (Sale Ends:Never)
Thats the only solution i know and bump the thread once every 7/30 days.

There is an official bump button that brings your thread back to the top when people search by date.

unfortunately, most of us found out the hard way that Digital point is the ONLY auction site on the planet where you can not RELIST..might have been nice to have been told that in advance

if your sale has expired, it goes to the BOTTOM of the page, and is greyed out.

You are the one acting as a child in this situation, BusinessCoach. I am no child. You are the one throwing a hissy fit over a minor problem which Admin is working on... And also, as you're a premium member remember that you can bump your thread every 7 days... Although your thread may be blacked out, it will be taken to the top. And then you can also use your signature to help you advertise your thread too. :) :) :)

    biggy

you are talking about things you are clearly ignorant about

if it was a "minor" problem so many people would not complain

and when you are prevented from selling all of a sudden that no longer is minor

it doesnt effect you...great - shut up and go home and worry about only you in life

it affects others - and we care

also it is NOT taken to the top, it is left on the bottom, greyed out....virtually invisible

and this is done by design, not accident.

if signatures were all that were needed, then there would not be a BST at all, now would there

you clearly are clueless....please keep your ignorance to yourself, especially in matters that you have no concern over.

Someone also forgot to tell you that this isn't an auction site, this is a forum. Buy/Sell/Trade is secondary to anything else. Would you consider eBay a forum because they have a forum on their site? It's the same thing in reverse... a minor thing this site does is auctions, it most definitely does not make it an auction site though. :)
