Is there anything from which i can promote my domain name on web. I think google gives preference to the sites which retrurns 10-20 thousand result on searching their domain name on google. for example: suppose your domain name is www.xyz.com now when you type xyz on google it should return 10-20 thousand results to catch google's eyes. am i correct?i have observed this on many site.
i think it's the other way around, sites that already have 20k results means they have earned their spot in the top ranking results and most likely they have quite a lot of backlinks too.
it does not really matter to be honest, it depends on the actual name of the domain etc.....numerous factors that return these types of values
