We have ranked well in Yahoo for three of our keyword phrases, and its been steady for months. As keyword search improves within google from my work, it seems to decrease in Yahoo.. any thoughts?

When search company changes its algorithms then many things changes and sometime for the time being we see many difference and pitfalls

I am also having this kind of problem.

When my site dropped 10 pages in google(for a few days), my site got a better position in yahoo, but when I got my rankings back in google, good position in yahoo went away. Not sure why that happens...very odd.

I guess it's ok, because I end up with traffic either way...but, I would'nt mind getting a good position in both.

this just shows that both engines are constantly tweaking their algo's. the only conciliation you have is that as it decreases in one, the other increases, so hopefully they cancel each other out.
