I was looking at why traffic dropped for a site ahead of the holiday so dramatically, and I found this: I don't know that this is why the traffic dropped, but I haven't seen that before. I wonder if they are doing something similar for other keywords. Input a search, it takes you to Google base.
I'm using Google.com, with the keyword recipes. Doesn't seem to work for the singular, though. Perhaps a test?

Not to me, I am trying Amazon cookbooks and AdSense. Recipes is a major keyword, and my traffic/impressions/clickthrough dropped along about Wednesday. While I expected it to be lower for the holiday, it seemed too soon to drop so dramatically. I guess we'll see what happens next week...
