Search ranking decreased

Recently, the search ranking for my sites has decreased. As a matter of fact, it is more disappeared than decreased because I see my site listed nowhere on the same keyword for which it used to appear on the first page. I guess, the reason is because I used the Clicksor popup ads on the site. I have heard similar stories before. People said not to use pop up ads, but I did anyway. That was my fault. Now that I have removed the ads, do you think I will regain my earlier ranking? If yes, then how long might it take? Please let me know.

PS. The site is still indexed as I can see the pages when I enter site:mysitename.com. And Google shows the site if I just type the whole domain name including the extension.

Well, at least it's still indexed. It could be just a dance but I'd say continue what you've been doing such as steady linking and it should be back soon

I think Google Panda hits your website. Send a re-consideration request to Google Search Quality Team.

Probably pop up was the reason for the drop. Since pop up delivers bad user experience this is why your ranking was pushed a few places down.

But this is necessarily not the only reason.
Here is Matt Cutts telling the most possible reason for the drop in SERP rankings... Check this out!

    Hope this helps!

Remove pop up and start building good quality backlinks for your pages. Then update your content and post new articles which are really good in quality. Hope you will get back your position.
