Hello, As I can't search the topics that is why I am posting this, maybe this is asked many times but i didn't find and badly search system is not working properly, Want to ask that i search about cpx and cpx payment and few more different terms, I got many results but not the new ones, old topics mostly, is there any indexing progress still going on? Imran, it is my understanding that the reindexing has been completed. That said the indexing system for VB4 is not satisfactory in my estimation and is to be replaced.
@DP - First i try to search directly from the header (no advance), i got the same results, old posts, then after I search via advance search options and i sort out the latest date aswell to see the latest topics, but no luck, I got results mostly from December 2009, January 2010.
I found what I am looking for, I am saying that I am getting mostly the old topics, before the up gradation to VB4, i get almost the new topics, Today's or Yesterday's but am getting a month old topics/posts, for example, I search " WTS " and I got this, please look at the screen shot below : http://tinypic.com/r/1624p6s/5 and http://i42.tinypic.com/50qstv.jpg Majorities are days/month old, I never get any searching problem before the upgrade of VB4.
Every time I try it, it sorts as expected when I choose the sort option. Are you sure you are sorting the results the way you want to see them?
