Search for blogpot comments.

    I'm always doing it, losing the email that tells me someone has commented on something in a blog. Then you go to the blog and see it's nothing on the first page of your site. If I had the email I'd know exactly which post they were talking about...

    So is there any way for blogger users just to list all thier comments, or posts with comments on from the blogger interface?

    You could spider your own blog and then grab all text down from the #comments anchor. Strip html and you should have them all searchable.

    I found the post in the end, someone saying "I like your blog, good reading - please read mine at: blahlbha.

    Cheeky sod. I thought, fair enough, I'll recupricate ...and the sod's disabled comments on his blog!!!

    LOL Sounds like classic comment spam Was there a nice bit of anchor text in the link perchance? :rolleyes:

    I had 4 comments like that the other day, all ambiguously gushing with praise about the post in the blog but ultimately shallow... :)
