    Hello All,

As you all might be knowing that when you have loads of PMs in your PM inbox, its really really hard to locate the PM you're looking for especially when you have your client's info in that PM.

I would like to suggest the mods/admins to consider putting a "Search" feature for PMs just like what we have on GMail, Yahoo etc. for e-mails.

What are your thoughts on it? Please post them in the thread. :)

    Thanks!

    Karan

Wouldn't that be very time consuming? I think its easier to just search for what you want, anyway just my opinion. :)

I don't think it's a feature that has been made available by vBulletin. I'm sure there is someone out there trying to develop it but it's not available right now.

You can create a folder and place your important PMs in it. ;)

I tried that recently and I (accidentally) deleted a whole bunch of important "stuff'. I've got the hang of it now, but there are some jobs I did that I cannot see the PM transactions to and I'm trying to sort through my emails to find these PMs.

So, (to a few people) If I did any work for you, but I haven't asked for payment, you know why!! :p

Okay, time to go to the county fair :)

PS. Yes, I like the idea of sorting pms by name, or something....

In gmail (google mail) is dont delete the PM notifications and gmail saves them all in one conversation. Then I can search them really easily (has in built search tool) and highlights search term which makes it really easy.

    hope that helps

This would be a nice feature, but it hasn't been developed yet.
