You could add a meta description to your site. The content of the meta description will appear in the "description" of the SERPs instead of the "menu"

I have read that some engines (such as google) do not use Meta Tags when text is available on the website.

Google has kinda waved the use of meta keywords , but the meta description is still used and it is important that you use it (unless you want those menus to appear). You can give it a try and use meta description or continue further discussing what I suggested.

I have description tag in my site, and google use it to display the description in search results. However, Google don't keywords meta tag.
