Search Engines. How do they measure your page VALUE

    1. When a visitor lands on our landing page, google capture some timing information to measure the page load time.
    2. Google will record that page load time in a Session scope Custom Variable.
    3. The page load time is reported to Google Analytics with the trackPageview call.
    4. The data is aggregated in Google Analytics and can be viewed in the Visitors > Custom Variables section.
    5. Google need to export the data into excel to do anything useful with it because Google Analytics isn’t too good at dealing with numerical data in custom variables.

    Search engine diagnose ur site , how it is usefull for others?It seems all the factors that are calculated by analysis tools.Like page view , response time , user session , bounce rate, no. of visitors of ur site , unique and regular visitors etc. There are many different factors related to site on the bases of a search engine populate that site for ranking and for page rank.

    While measuring the value of any page, search generally take care of the following factors:


    1. Relevance
    2. Size
    3. size and color of fonts
    4. scripts
    5. outbound/inbound links
    6. internal linking
    7. server header check
    8. any redirection
    9. Private/Public page
    10. There should not be any encoding error
    11. Language (it must be the native language of the target audience)
    12. Grading (safe of all/ porno/ 18+, etc.)
    13. URL structure
    These are few major factors for grading any page.
