see this page http://www.healthcarejobssource.com/Search/SearchCustomer.aspx since everyone told me search engines can not read java scripts and this page is full with java script. what is the solutions of it?
as per my opinion, it is fine to use javascript as far as form or other validation is there. but don't use javascript to display text, links or other things that can help to improve the search engine rankings. PM me if you need any help. all the best
may be you must edit your script and change the javascript code to html or php code... 1 tip for you, just use javascript to make a form...
Google has just started to read Javascript codes but not very good at it. It will take lot of time for Google to completely understand javascript. In the meantime you need to go back to basics html or php.
Actually Google has been reading and sometimes executing JavaScript for quite some time now. We've seen them discover and index URLs for a couple years by following JavaScript links. But historically, they were using this only as a discovery method to locate new pages they might not know about. However, now they are not only using them for discovery purposes, but also supposedly counting them in some cases as valid backlinks and passing PR through the Javascript links. Here is a VERY recent video from Cutts on JavaScript and Google. As for your question, why do you really care? The page you link to is a search page. It has no "real" content until the user enters a search phrase and presses the SEARCH button. What keyword phrase would you want this page to rank for? It looks like you want it to rank for "Search Customer" based on your <title>. I wouldn't lose any sleep about making this page rank or even making it crawlable. Even if it ranked, most people who clicked on the link would likely bounce back to Google immediately. If you're trying to build a directory of Healthcare related jobs then I would strongly suggest you make ALL of the links text links, NOT JavaScript links. Even though Google is starting to count those as valid links in some cases, other engines still only count text links (<a>). If you want to rank for keyword phrases related to particular types of jobs then create content (articles possibly) on your site describing what those jobs are about, what are typical requirements for such jobs, what types of degrees or certifications might be available for those jobs, which parts of the country those particular types of jobs might be most in demand, etc. and then making THOSE pages rank.
not sure what would be the purpose of optimizing an inner page with only search feature. you optimize a page with content on it and where visitors land for the first time. make sure you have enough content on the landing pages which is what matters most then why not take the liberty to throw in some good advice?
How can you say that Google has started reading of Java Script. Can you explain me or Can you send me link that Where you got this update.
Thank you so much for the goog advise. I dont want to rank those pages on web. I just wanted google to crawl and index them which he is not able to do right now should i follow this advise? "Google is not going to find any of your content as it now stands. It won't follow forms to search your site. The only fix I can think of would be to provide a directory structure, like craigslist."
Hello, I find no cause to believe that Google is understanding Java script.Better to go on basic html.
