    Bing will be the market leader one day as Google are moving their focus too far away from their original starting point of being a simple search engine.

    Yahoo will one day also make a resurgence. Google will be here for a long while but they are slowly losing customers.

    And if you want to get picky then Baidu - the Chinese SE is looking at going global ;)

    Not really. There are less than a hundred search engine, all the others are either web directories or were search engines on their own, but actually using either Google or Yahoo technology, such as the old Altavista (now Yahoo-powered)

    The biggest search engines are Google, Yahoo, and Bing, but the most active crawling websites are Baidu, Yandex and Majestick.

    Other search engines are half way between being search engines as we know them, and being directories or something else, like happens with Ask, Mamma and 7Search.

    BTW, about this


    Bing and MSN are just the same but under different names.

    I think there are much more search engines like Yahoo,Bing,Google and many others but Google is most popular all of them.

    Lots of search engines are available but the list of popular engines are really short. Google is in the top and then Yahoo and bing.
