hi, which one traffic is more targetted and sales oriented: Traffic from Search Engines. OR Traffic from forums. ? As we all know everyone wants the search engines traffic but if we compare traffic from search engines with forums traffic, then in my opinion traffic from forums is more targetted.(sales oriented) because, i will say only one sentence: Those visitors who come from search engines have the purpose to learn the things-mostly- forums provide them the place to learn and make them capable to choose the quality products. for example, if someone wants to build his muscles he will find some good forum to learn the techniques. From the forums he will see people using different useful medicines and he will then also buy for himself. Actually forums develop interest of people and make them to get more and more useful things. SO, in my opinion, if some one is getting 100 uniques per day from forums it whould be better than 500 uniques of search engines as you can get up to 10 sales from forums per 100 visitors easily but from search engines you can hardly get 2 sales per 500 uniques. - mostly- Exceptions may be happened but i m dicussing a normal situation not an ideal one. Hello, Well IMO, you can get targeted traffic from SEs if you work around targeted keywords. Audience is limited in forums, while SEs give you a bulk. Yes, bulk may be crap, but it solely depends on your marketing and optimization skills to convert them. Thank you
I would say search engine traffic is most targetted, someone types in what their looking for, if you do the right things it ensures they see your sites.
I would say that you should work on getting both. Instead of arguing about which is better why not target both?
Working on getting traffic from search engines is more sustainable. I would prefer that one. Although forum traffic may be more targeted in cases.
