Search engine traffic suddenly drops !

    Guys, i was getting very consistent traffic via google .. and a pretty good alexa rank too !

    Everyday i got 600+ visitors from google but suddenly my google visitors shooted down to nothin in just 1 day.

    can anybody explain why please ?

    below is the screenshot of my Google analytics stats... traffic via search engines.

    you can see the graph is climbing... climbing... and then sudenly drops ...

    PS : Mine is a vbulletin forum..

    Any help is really appreciated !!

    i had a smilar problem, try to add new fresh content and use other keywords.

    Ok got it,

    i remember i had removed the google analytics script from footer template and placed it in forumhome template.

    so it was only counting hits on the index page and not on the content pages.

    just placed it back into the footer template. hope this gets it fixed.

    I had a similar experience and saw the similar advises (like above) in the forum before, but the time didn't seem to do anything for the problem itself...

    Has anything changed on your end? Has new content been produced? Have your link partners removed your linkback by any chance?
