just adding to any SE the URL like "http://www.google.com/addurl/". But this process no need to do bca all new sites are indexing 9 finding ) by All famouse SE liek Google , yahhoo, live etc

who does search engine submissions in 2008 ?! I mean common you don't need, just get your sites indexed from authority sites in your niche.

You submit your site and to get it listed in search engines. But you don't have to, just get backlinks to your new site, search engines follow those links and find you site.
Search engine submissions mean you will have to submit your sites in different Search engine like google, yahoo, msn, altavista, etc. google different country wise search engine submissions also.
today there is many search engine the count could go in thousand. if you need to do search engine submission you can use some submission tools for it like webceo you can use its free version and will be ok for this purpose only I will not say to do anything else with automated tools.
