Search engine script question

    Hello everyone, i hope this is the proper section for my question.

    I'm looking for a web search engine script for a medium sized web search site (local TLD site, only for kids). I'd like a commercial ready-to-use script for that, similar to the Interspire FastFind (nice admin panel, advanced and complex statistics, site analysis), but with multiple site indexing. I'm not sure what would be the technical requirements for that kind of project (PHP and mysql or something else), I think it would be fine if it could run fast searches on lets say 10.000 indexed sites. Does anyone know a ready-to-use product for this ? I have browsed many script-sites so far and couldnt find anything matching my requirements and I dont think I have enough time to get someone to write a similar script for me from scratch.

    Well I'm rather looking for something that has a google-looking results page and features.

    Use google custom search engine you can even use google adsense on the ad pages (good ctr). You can choose the pages and sites its shows, even the keywords.

    A search engine is as good as it's underlying search algothirm, may be you post your requirement at few freelance sites and see whether some freelance company can code a customized search engine for you.

    Yes it career, thus I think the GCSE + Google Analytics will be the perfect solution (thanks shmoe!). I'm pretty sure its the best solution for my project at the moment. With the business edition I'll be able to remove the whole google branding and fully customize the look of it + with the amazing Google Analytics I'll have everything that I need in terms of statistics, analysis etc. On top of that I guess the whole installation and customization process will take a lot less time than having someone code a customized search engine, time is an important factor for me right now.

    Hi, I'm back again with my problem. It turned out that Google CSE, even the business edition, is limited to searching up to 3 sites only. Thus I'm still looking for a hi-end ready-to-use search engine script to adapt to my needs.
