Am I the only one seeing such craziness in location type searches such as this. It could be still the dewey update but wondered if others see this kind of garbage in some of the searches. I feel sorry for those trying to find a LOCAL realtor all this month!!! Many times you have to go to the 3rd page of the results to even find anyone local. Doesn't seem to apply to all searches, just some. Anyway, I was just wanting to see what you guys saw or thought.

An average Florida real estate search which pops up Texas agencies.

    Or

A hometown real estate search that has been showing national chains mostly, some realtors make it back in. Sometimes we are all beat out by sitemaps, mapquest maps and the like. If you go beyond page 1 you will likely see craziness scattered about.

    And one more

A Florida county search for Real Estate which has a multitude of junk including Oregon pages and sitemaps on page one.

Edited to add: I forgot to mention the Yellow Page ads by the droves.

Those all appear fine to me; you might of been seeing this with a datacenter that was having issues. Also, make sure you log out of your Google accounts prior to making searches; yes it can have an effect on results.

I am logged out! I also checked one of the multi data center viewers and it is like this on most of the searches. But it wasn't before! And changes frequently.

You mean you don't see from the first link on the first page midway down
Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS - Texas Real Estate, North ...Coldwell Banker United Texas REALTORS - Full Service Real Estate in North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas. Search all MLS Listing, Homes for Sale in ...

And it is totally normal not to see local realtors (Which WERE there and still are sometimes) for the city real estate search???
And from the 3rd link you don't see the sitemap as the #2 position???

All of that is normal??? I need a drink then!

    Thank you

Yeah, I see pretty much all relevant results. Not necessarily agent results, a lot of larger real estate sites and listing aggregators. Still, relevant.

Thank you, that is why I asked. I looked at counties all over FL and saw the same thing. That would be why folks tell me they don't know how to search for Real Estate in our area.

Relevant perhaps, but Oregon real estate agencies do not belong in Florida Real Estate searches. Sitemaps and mapquest maps should not be so blooming close to the top of the results. From a searchers perspective, that is just junk!

The rankings corrected overnight for many searches and I figured out how to rank for the terms I want. But again, from a searchers perspective, that is junky results relevant or not. I expected more out of Google!

I guess you'll just need to get your team of software engineers and make a more relevant search engine.
