Search Engine Ranking Query

I had submitted certain articles in the top article directories... But I didn't target my priority keywords into them... Now I am thinking to edit those articles and target my keywords with a link to my website...These articles are around one year old, and do have some of my given keywords... Will these editions impact the search engine rankings of my website positively? Or it will result into something negative?

 

I think only article marketing is not enough but you need to try some other tactics likeblog commenting and forums. That will be more helpful to you.

 

Hi Selena... Thanks for replying me.. I have been doing those activities... But when I submitted those articles previously... I did them with random keywords.. Now when I have finalised the set of targeted keywords.. I think to edit the keywords in the already live articles... But I am afraid that will they negatively impact my current rankings?

 

Don't worry, it will not give negative effect to your ranking, but you should publish much more to get a good ranking in Search Engine.

 

The more the better, it's a good idea to have a mix of keywords linking to your site anyway.

 

Maybe you have to wait some days, so Google can visit your article. Then you can update your site content frequently and you can add new articles too. This is the key. "WRITE EVERY DAY"

 

it takes time.. keep link building and write quality contents.
